This painting is of a Tiger called Amba, that was in a zoo in Ukraine,. Along with many other beautiful animals who were traumatized by the noise of heavy fighting, I wonder if she is still alive? I wonder if the zoo is still there, I wonder what happened to all the other animals, their devoted keepers who stayed on to comfort and protect them?
